The Collaboration between ASEAN – Japan on Cybersecurity
The Japanese Cybersecurity Strategic Headquarters approved the “Cybersecurity Strategy 2021” and are actively promoting the relationship between International Cooperation.
Based on this strategy, NISC (National center of Incident readiness and Strategy for Cybersecurity) has been conducting the ASEAN-Japan Cybersecurity Policy Meeting and has begun training and discussions with those in charge of cybersecurity of each ASEAN member states. NISC has been supporting capacity building of cybersecurity for ASEAN member states for over 13 years.
Now they are moving on to the next phase, and are looking to collaborate with both industry sectors and academia, public and private, for cybersecurity in ASEAN countries.
Why a Cybersecurity Business Platform?
JISA (Japan Information Technology Services Industry Association) has worked for greater dynamism and sophistication in the industry through activities with over 550 Japanese member corporations as well as ASOCIO ( The ASIAN-OCEANIAN Computing Industry Organization) organized by ICT associations representing 24 economies.
As the concept of JISA’s policy, we have announced that we will build our society to make people more proficient with digital technology.
Under our policy, along with that of the Japanese government, we started this Cybersecurity Business Platform (CBP).
CBP provides support in solving problems encountered by Japanese companies. We provide language support between Japanese and foreign countries through providing events, exhibitions, meetings, and lectures.
We connect with not only Japanese companies but also each local partner.
CBP connects industries, governments, associations, and academia in each member state.
Additionally, we will gladly provide advice on business investments.
CBP proactively builds mutually beneficial relationships with local partners between Japan and ASEAN countries.
Now let us unite towards the goal of creating a brilliant future through a cybersecurity business platform.
